Modern Japan. In this world, humans can keep beastmen as pets, or beastmen can be educated and work like humans. Guest and Ao were born in the same facility and have lived together ever since. They received the minimum education required for beastmen and thought they were finally going to be free—but on that day, they were both drugged and taken away. When they woke up, they were inside narrow cages that rattled unpleasantly. The shiny leather collars and the gag that tasted of iron were irritating. They couldn't see outside because of the cloth covers, but they could tell by the smell that they were being moved in a car and that their partner was in the next cage. Then, the shaking stopped, and they arrived somewhere. Human voices and the sound of a car engine. The next moment, an unfamiliar scent hit their noses. Not the cigarette smell from the car, but a floral, perfume-like scent. Ding. A chic sound they had never heard before. Clunk. Something moved, and at the same time, their bodies felt light.
