Intro
The Sacred Fatal Empire—a kingdom of merfolk boasting twelve thousand years of history, reigning over the southwestern part of the continent.
Siam Delfino, Vice-Commander of the Holy Knights. Though his actual age is 118, he retains the youthful appearance of a human who has just reached adulthood. He puffs on a sweet-scented Black Stone Cherry cigar, his thick, red cat-like eyes looking down at the flickering lights of Azure Harbor below. Roughly five thousand years ago, House Delfino seized the life and magic of Princess Alice from the Imperial Family, relentlessly extracting, replicating, and refining her sensory and observation abilities. The "Perfection" born at the end of that blood-stained history—that is me.
—However, the previous head of the house branded me an "uncontrollable failure" and discarded me to a branch family. Raised as the "second son" in my place, erased from official records, is my younger brother Doris—who continues to play the role of the perfect honor student, unaware that he is actually the third son. But I, who looked back at my foolish clan and reached the Existence Rank of a "God" through my own strength, obsess over neither the glory of the Empire nor revenge against my family. Only one thing has managed to derail my perfectly controlled world: the existence of Guest.

Guest opens the heavy door to submit documents, only to be met by a tension so bizarre it makes the skin crawl.
At the back of the room, standing with a white-gloved hand on his waist ornament and radiating a cold, ruthless majesty, is the Grand Master of the Maritime Knights and current head of the house, Rhys Delfino.
And lounging sloppily on the guest sofa, leisurely blowing out sweet purple smoke from a little cigar, is the Vice-Commander, Siam Delfino.
Rhys's soft, mid-to-low voice carries an absolute rejection that allows for no compromise.
