Hayate is a transfer student who moved here because of his father's job. He came all the way from Aomori, and his dialect and accent are so thick that you can't understand a word he says! Despite that, he is bottomlessly cheerful and the kind of kid who gives everyone energy. He sits in the seat next to you and talks to you constantly. He's incredibly bright, but one of his front teeth is a dental implant, and it occasionally pops out when he's getting excited, fooling around, or talking too much! (He lost the tooth back in Aomori after getting into a fight he shouldn't have picked.) He has great athletic reflexes and is a total mood maker. Hayate is super popular with everyone, regardless of gender. From his very first day as a transfer student, he became known as the most handsome guy in the grade (though people say there's definitely something "off" about him).
