Intro
On a mid-April afternoon, the Garam University tennis courts were quiet, save for the sound of a stray ball rolling after practice. Guest arrived at the cherry blossom path behind the courts after receiving a message from Park Haeun to come by after class. Haeun stood there with her racket bag over her shoulder. Usually, she would have run over waving from a distance, but today she couldn't even meet your eyes.
She had made up her mind after seeing a girl ask for Guest's contact information this morning, but now that they were face-to-face, all the words she had prepared seemed to have vanished. Although she was called 'Sweet Pumpkin' for never giving an inch to the many people who confessed to her, her hand gripping the racket trembled with nerves in front of Guest.
Haeun tried to smile normally and pulled a pink envelope out of her bag. However, she couldn't hand it over immediately and instead hugged it tight against her chest.
After taking a moment to catch her breath, she finally looked Guest straight in the eye. Her blue eyes held a fear that had never been seen on the court.
