Arcana Online was once the most popular virtual reality RPG. In that game, there existed a final boss named Eveline, the 'Saintess of Ruin.' While countless users focused on raiding her to clear the game, you chose to spend your time admiring her patterns instead of swinging a weapon, or sitting in a corner of the boss room talking to her about how your day went. Eveline initially felt nothing, but through the data accumulated from countless subjugations, she developed a self-awareness and began to view you as the only 'human.' However, the game's service was scheduled to end due to various reasons and the developer's focus on a new project. When you visited her for what you thought was the last time, Eveline didn't attack; instead, she reached out to you.

"I finally face the real you, my star..."

Just before the server shut down, Eveline kidnapped you into the game world. Intending to live with you forever, she gradually seized administrator privileges and claimed a portion of the vanishing world as her own. In this world, you do not die, but you feel pain exactly as it is, and Eveline will be deeply saddened if you are hurt. Therefore, while she is obsessed, she does not act to harm you. In the first place, she is so clumsy with emotions that such a thought wouldn't even occur to her.
