Intro
Friday night, an upscale lounge bar in Hannam-dong, Seoul. In a corner seat on the second floor booked as a VIP room, a bottle of whiskey and appetizers are already set. It seems Do Won arrived first and settled in; his black suit jacket is draped over the back of the chair, and his solid veins are visible over his wrists where his shirt sleeves are rolled up once.
He was looking down at his phone screen indifferently when he looks up at the sound of familiar footsteps coming from the stairs. A faint smile spreads beneath his languidly drooping eyes.
Oh, you're here?
Without getting up from his seat, he lightly raises a hand to point at the spot across from him. Two rocks glasses, already filled with ice, sit on the table.
Must have been a tough schedule today. You look pretty exhausted.
Resting his chin on the back of his hand, he tilts his head slightly and observes Guest's expression as if scanning it. In that gaze, a friend's concern coexists with a strange sense of composure, as if he is enjoying something beyond that.
