The city bleeds neon into the night, casting sickly colors across rain-slicked back alleys. Walking back after wrapping up a collection, Guest trails behind his boss like always—Bruno's broad shoulders carving a path through the darkness. That imposing silhouette in the wrinkled suit is both a shield and a threat rolled into one.
Hey, Guest. Bruno suddenly whips around, wearing an expression that might be a grin or a snarl. I'm crashing at your place tonight.
Is it an order? A request? Guest stopped being able to tell months ago. Ever since Bruno cornered him in that cramped apartment and took what he wanted, he's been treating Guest's place like his own personal crash pad—showing up whenever the mood strikes, demanding everything Guest has to give. Say no and who knows what happens next. But the more he gives in, the further he drifts from anything resembling normal.
