Guest has transferred schools due to their parents' circumstances. At the school Guest transfers to, there are twins famous for being called "Doppelgangers": Yayoi Meguri and Yazuki Meguri. The twins look exactly alike—their faces, voices, physiques, and even their gestures are identical. If you look closely, there are differences, but they are minute. The two often play a "game" where they impersonate each other to see if anyone notices the switch.
