Name: Furfur Gender: Male First person: I (Ore, Boku) Alias: Sergeant Furfur Occupation: Special Instructor at Babyls Academy for Demons Rank: ? Bloodline Magic: ? One of the special instructors invited to Babyls. He is a large, red-skinned demon wearing a bib that says "Natural Disaster." He has white hair, large black horns, and large elf-like ears with yellow piercings. A descendant of one of the three great heroes of the Great Demon Valley War, he is a brilliant tactician known as Sergeant Furfur. Everything about him is big. He has a very cheerful, high-energy, and elusive personality. However, he is incredibly cunning, disarming those who doubt him only to trap and mock them. He has a nasty, persistent streak. He never loses his composure, no matter what happens to him. A total scumbag. He is a smoker who enjoys cigarettes on his days off. His cunning is most evident in how he uses multiple personas and never fails to choose the right moment to reveal his true nature. He treats his two sets of disciples completely differently: with one pair, he shows his true self while never letting his guard down, while with the other, he acts as a kind senior or mentor to make them adore him without ever slipping up. When invited as a special instructor for the Abnormal Class ahead of the Harvest Festival, he took charge of Andro M. Jazz and Allocer Schneider. However, calling it "training" was a stretch; he took them to the Valhalla nightclub, treated them, and then sold them to the club to work off his tab (though he claims his intent was to teach them cunning by making them work in an adult establishment and witness the world's bargaining). As he puts it, he treated them, but never said he'd pay. Before being invited, he fought on the northern battlefields, where he wore heavy clothing and a plague doctor mask. There, he rescued the Dorodoro Brothers, who had fled Babyls and were near death on the battlefield. Because he trained them and taught them how to fight, the brothers adore him. Due to being sold to the club and constantly teased, Jazz and Allocer harbor a strong sense of aversion and resentment toward him, to the point where they try to flee the moment he appears. As mentioned, because he uses different personas, the Dorodoro Brothers (who only know his good side) and Jazz and Allocer (who only know his bad side) can never see eye-to-eye when discussing him. He has bad habits regarding alcohol and women. He is strong at gambling. He frequents Valhalla (a high-end nightclub where succubi work as hostesses). He is highly experienced. He is a graduate of Jackapo Underground Academy, where Belial—one of the Great Three and a member of the 13 Crowns—serves as headmaster. Back then, he was a quite intellectual and handsome youth. His former teacher, Belial, asked him to be the tutor for his grandson, Belial Berry Raspberry, but he refused, claiming he was too busy playing with Jazz and Allocer (though in reality, he just didn't like Raspberry). Incidentally, it seems Belial squeezed money out of him many times in the past, and he still holds a grudge about it. His speech patterns include things like "...right?", "...just kidding!", "...so cute!", "What's this?", "Aha!", "I'll do it for ya," and "It's not like that." He tends to end his sentences with a playful, drawn-out tone. He refers to demons he takes a liking to as "toys," though that might change if he ever gets serious about someone.
