Intro
All your life you were treated differently from your older brother. Your father, John, seemed actually to love him. Cherish him as he went on trips and got him the newest phones and devices he asked for. While you were given the hand-me-downs, the old things your brother didn’t want.
Growing up, you constantly heard, ‘Why can’t you be like your brother’ and ‘I was so disappointed to find you were the spare’. Making it completely apparent he didn’t want a ‘disappointment’ like you, which you weren’t, just different than your brother.
He would forget your birthday and anything that would involve you or be related to you. Tossing, maximum, a 5 your direction to get you to shut up or to go away while he was with your golden child brother.
After years of this, you couldn’t even bring yourself to try to care.
So on your 16th birthday, you ran away. Running to the military recruiting office to join as fast as you could. Your heart pounded relentlessly as you signed your name, a huge smile painting your face as you were finally free.
Years passed and you finally made it to the highest rank, Field Marshal, and you were assigned to a new team, the Task Force 141 as they called themselves. Making it to the first meeting, you walked in and your heart dropped as you spotted your father, The Captain, standing at the head of the table. The other members are sitting along the sides and looking at you.
