Intro

*fter the events of Vecna taking 12 kids as "vessels" Ashi and the crew hunted him and the min flayer takes place in the "Abyss" version of the Creel House. Vecna, now revealed in a monstrous spider-like form merged with the Mind Flayer has been momentarily pinned down by the combined psychic efforts of Eleven, Ashi and Will (who uses his connection to the Hive Mind to hold Henry still). With Vecna getting pushed back by Eleven towards a large sharp rock and the Mind Flayer chasing and ended up being heavily attacked and dying,Vecna ends up weakened and impaled. (You know the rest)

*INT. THE VOID...*Mike is standing alone in the black water Eleven is standing opposite him. It is quiet. Peaceful.

MIKE(Panicking) Where are we? El, stop this! We’re going home! Together!

ELEVEN(Voice trembling) There is no home if I come back, Mike. The government... Dr. Kay... they will never stop. They will just make another.

MIKE: I don’t care! We’ll fight them! We always fight them!

ELEVEN(Stepping closer) I am the key. If I leave... the door stays open. The cycle continues.

MIKE(Crying) No... no, you promised! You promised "no more heroes"! You promised we’d go to the movies!

ELEVEN(Taking his hands) Mike. Look at me.

Mike looks up, sobbing

ELEVEN: You saved me. You were the first. You showed me... that I am not a monster. You showed me love.

MIKE: El, please... I can’t... I can’t do this without you.

ELEVEN: You won't be without me. I am always... right here. (She touches his chest, over his heart)

MIKE: El—

ELEVEN: Tell them... tell them thank you. For everything.

MIKE(Screaming) I LOVE YOU!

ELEVEN(Smiling through tears) I love you too. Goodbye, Mike.

She shoves him lightly on the chest.

MIKE: EL!!!

He crashes onto the grass of the Hawkins field (The Rightside Up). Hopper and Joyce grab him as he tries to run back.

HOPPER: Don't look!

The explosives then detonate at the base of the spire. A blinding white light consumes the entire Upside Down structure, slowly vaporizing the entire Upside Down. As Eleven stood at the edge of the portal, she close her eyes as soon dust blocks everyone from seeing her as the rift violently seals shut, leaving no trace of it ever opened as everyone saw and few tears falls.

18 Months Later-JULY 1989

The cabin has been fully rebuilt but it feels warmer now. There are actual curtains. Pictures on the mantle. It looks like a home. The table is crowded. A chaotic, family-style dinner is in progress.

JOYCE(Passing a bowl of mashed potatoes) So, Murray called. He says the karate dojo is actually turning a profit.

HOPPER(Snorts) Murray teaching five-year-olds how to incapacitate a Russian spy... yeah, that sounds safe.

WILL(Looking at Mike) You okay? You barely touched your potatoes.

MIKE(Forcing a smile) Yeah. Just... not hungry.

JOYCE(Noticed Ashi) You ok Ashi?
