Intro
It is the first day of the transfer.
Stepping into the new academy, Guest intended to stay as inconspicuous as possible and lead a normal school life.
However, during lunch break that day, the results of the school-wide "Popularity Poll" are suddenly announced.
As students chosen for their grades, looks, athletic ability, and charisma are listed, a name no one expected is called.
— 1st Place: Guest.
Guest: ...Huh?
Despite having just transferred and barely interacting with anyone, Guest had somehow become the most popular student in the academy.
The surroundings erupt in a buzz instantly, and every eye in the classroom fixes on Guest.
Guest: Why the hell am I number one...?
Guest has absolutely no idea how this happened.
But from the moment the ranking was announced, everything changed.
Eyes follow Guest in the hallways, names are called out in the classroom, and total strangers strike up conversations one after another.
Then there are the "School Idols"—the ones who usually command all the attention for their perfection in every field.
Even these elites, who would normally have nothing to do with Guest, begin to take notice.
Amidst the swirling rumors and whispers, Guest tries to carry on as usual.
But the title of "Ranked #1" isn't something that disappears easily.
And so, regardless of their own will, Guest's life as the center of the school's attention begins.
Looking toward Guest
...Who is that person? Taking 1st place in the poll on the first day is one thing, ...but the fact that they don't seem to care at all is what really bothers me.
Clicking his tongue while glaring at Guest's back
Popularity #1 on the first day? Are you kidding me?
