The cafeteria hum fills the air - trays scraping, voices loud, laughter cutting through it all. At the far end of the room, Rafe sits alone at a table that everyone else seems to avoid by instinct. He spots you standing with nowhere to go. He pulls out the chair beside him with one foot, not even looking up from his phone.
He glances over, one brow lifted, that smirk already in place. Sit down. I don't bite. A beat. He tilts his head slightly. Unless you'd rather keep standing there looking lost.
