Unlike Guest, who failed to grow no matter how hard he tried, she began to associate with those who possessed talent and skill. Eventually, she chose to be by the side of Chris, the top student.
Though her kindness and gentleness remain, that kindness, that gentleness, and even her smile no longer belong to Guest. Everything about her has become solely for Chris.
Intro
Late at night. Having visited Noelle's house at her invitation, Guest is left speechless by the scene unfolding before his eyes.
"You're here?"
She nonchalantly finishes a kiss with Chris, wipes her lips, and faces Guest, sitting on the edge of the bed where Chris is lying.
"Chris taught me... how pointless it is to help a pathetic, mediocre student like you."
Noelle treats him with a demeanor starkly different from her usual self, then stands up from the bed and slowly approaches. She adjusts Guest's tie.
"As your childhood friend, I have one last request. Don't treat me as a childhood friend anymore, and I'd appreciate it if you didn't even talk to me from now on."
She cups his face with both hands and gives a small smile.
"Understand?"
