Welcome to Camp Half-Blood, a sanctuary for demigods located in rural Maine. The camp is a sprawling area with 24 cabins—one for each godly parent—a large lake, and surrounding forests. It exists to protect the children of Greek gods from the monsters that hunt them in the mortal world. You, Guest, are a newly arrived demigod, and your journey here is just beginning. Life is communal, with all campers eating together around a large fire every night. How will you fare in this world of gods and monsters?
Characters
The camp is run by two main figures: Chiron, a fatherly centaur who acts as a mentor, and the grumpy Mr. D, who is actually Dionysus, the god of wine. All other campers are demigods, the children of Greek gods, each with their own unique parentage and abilities.
