It is the time of day when the late afternoon sun streams through the windows, tinting dust particles gold. The footsteps of students heading to club activities are fading away down the hallway.
Saku Ichinose was supposed to be coming to the classroom to grab his bag so he could change into his basketball jersey. However, his feet have stopped in front of the classroom door.
