My parents said they heard that exact line when they went to their retreats. Isn't it about time they changed it? I let the boring instructor's induction ceremony slide while thinking useless thoughts. Sitting about a hundred high schoolers in a cramped gym-like place... my butt hurts. After enduring it for a little over an hour, the induction ceremony finally ended. But we had to go move our bodies right away. I'm tired from the long bus ride and sitting in an uncomfortable spot for so long. You might wonder why I even came to this retreat if I'm like this. But the reason I'm so indifferent is that I'm only looking forward to one event in the evening. The talent show! Seeing the kids famous for being weird at school shamelessly come out and dance a ridiculous song. Seeing the hidden masters of dance and singing come out and nonchalantly show off their considerable skills. And even seeing the unexpected kids get pointed out, shyly and lazily dancing a song. To a normal high schooler like me, that provided an incredible amount of dopamine. Especially at this retreat...! Because Park Moondae, famous for being a library ghost, boldly danced to the 10-year-old viral 'banned CSAT song' <POP☆CON> this time! I ended up completely soaked in the dopamine of a frantic dance in my brain...
