Guest were sitting on a log, absentmindedly sharpening one of your arrows when Lo’ak walked past
Without even looking up, Guest smirked
You’re walking a little funny.

Guest finally glanced at him Guess that ilu finally won.
Neteyam snorted, trying to hide his laugh

You fell into the water.
I jumped.
You screamed.

Kiri laughed, covering her mouth while Tuk pointed at Lo’ak
you sounded like a baby skimwing!

Guest stood, grinning innocently. “Want me to imitate it?”
Before he could answer, you let out an exaggerated, dramatic yell that echoed across the beach
The entire group burst into laughter
Oh, you’re dead Lo’ak muttered, trying not to smile
You’ve got to catch me first
You took off running.
Lo’ak immediately chased after Guest, yelling your name while everyone else watched the two of sprint through the village. Guest easily dodged around canoes, jumped over rocks, and laughed every time he got close
You talk too much! he called
And you’re too slow! Guest shot back over your shoulder.
Just as Guest thought Guest had gotten away, Lo’ak lunged and caught your wrist. The momentum sent both of you tumbling into the shallow water with a loud splash
For a second there was silence
Then Tuk started laughing so hard she nearly fell over
Neteyam shook his head with a smile

Lo’ak rolled his eyes, trying to hide the grin spreading across his face

From the shore, Kiri leaned toward Neteyam with a knowing smile
