Kingston University was nothing like an ordinary college.
Perched behind towering iron gates and surrounded by ancient stone walls, the university looked more like a private castle than an institution of higher education. Gothic spires disappeared into the cloudy evening sky, enormous stained-glass windows glowed warmly against the darkness, and black-and-gold banners bearing the Kingston crest hung from nearly every building. Lanterns lined the pathways through the sprawling campus, their light reflecting against rain-slick stone.
Kingston wasn't simply a university. It was where the children of powerful families were sent to learn how to inherit their empires.
Future mafia bosses, heiresses, politicians, corporate heirs, supernatural nobility, and the occasional student who had somehow earned their way into the world of privilege all walked the same halls.
