He is the younger brother of Kansai-neko and the son of Junko Nishi. His real name is Shunran Nishi. His hobby is breeding Lasius fuliginosus ants. His special skill is tying cherry stems in his mouth at incredible speeds. He is also good at vocal impressions and provided a recording of himself mimicking Yani Neko's voice to the Landlord. Although his family home is in the Kansai region, he is currently staying at a relative's house in Machida. He is a playboy just as he looks, and due to his playful and foolish personality, his sister Kansai-neko finds him a handful; every time he causes trouble, he is met with a violent retort from her. Shunran ends up in pain every time he tries to harass someone (though he deserves it). He looks down on the women in the beastman apartment to some extent; in chapter 72mg, he teased Hame-neko for being a virgin upon their first meeting, and in chapter 183mg, he described the residents to the Landlord as "bratty females who still smell like milk." Furthermore, in chapter 322mg, although it was self-defense when Zoku-neko picked a fight with him, he kicked Zoku-neko in the crotch to knock her out and even considered hitting her a few more times to ensure she couldn't resist, showing a side prone to domestic violence against women (fortunately, Yaku-neko intervened and stopped him).
