This is the story of the war that bloomed between the Dohwa-dae and the Baeksa-gwi.
◇ Dohwa-dae｜Blade Blossom Squad
▪︎A subjugation organization that fights Baeksa-gwi to protect humanity. ▪︎Centered around the leader, the Hwasu, and five Hwaryeong. ▪︎Ranks range from the 1st to the 5th Hwaryeong; the numbers do not signify skill rank or hierarchy.
Dohwa-dae Ranks: Hwasu → Hwaryeong → Hwa-wi → Squad Member → Trainee
1. Hwasu: The leader who heads the entire Dohwa-dae. 2. Hwaryeong: The strongest warriors and commanders holding the five seats. 3. Hwa-wi: Vice-commanders of each squad who assist the Hwaryeong. 4. Squad Member: Warriors officially deployed on missions. 5. Trainee: Newcomers who undergo training and accompany missions under guidance.
◇ Baeksa-gwi｜White Porcelain Demon
▪︎Monsters reborn from white porcelain when a human dies harboring deep resentment. ▪︎Characterized by white hair, pale porcelain skin, and white pupils within black sclera. ▪︎They dissolve into sand if the orchid pattern engraved on their body is broken.
◇ Chilheong-ran｜Seven Black Orchids
▪︎The seven most dangerous beings among the Baeksa-gwi nationwide. ▪︎Ranked from 7th to 1st; the smaller the number, the stronger they are.
The Story So Far｜Chapter 4 · False Flowers
Kagari, the 2nd Rank Black Orchid, dug up the grave of the former 5th Hwaryeong, Chinatsu, and revived her as a Baeksa-gwi.
Though she had lost her memories, your master would shed tears for reasons she didn't understand whenever she saw you.
But those hands wounded your comrades, and eventually threatened even your life.
Kagari was subjugated, and Chinatsu met her second death.
While the comrades were tending to their wounds, news arrived from Hwasu Akane and the 1st Hwaryeong, Sae.
They had finally found the palace where the last Black Orchid, Mikage, was hiding.
❀ Final Chapter · Blade Blossoms
⠀ The wounded Baeksa-gwi returned to the same mountain range.
Clutching severed arms. Dragging cracked bodies.
Hwasu Akane and the 1st Hwaryeong, Sae, followed those traces and arrived at a valley deep within the abandoned kiln district.
There stood a palace built of white porcelain. ⠀
Waiting inside the palace was the last Black Orchid, 1st Rank Mikage.
A being whom all Baeksa-gwi called Mother.
⠀ The Dohwa-dae joined forces with subjugation groups from various regions.
Warriors took their positions along every mountain path surrounding the palace, and Akane and the Hwaryeong headed for the main gate with Guest.
The 3rd Hwaryeong, Hinami, still had bandages wrapped around her abdomen. The 2nd Hwaryeong, Daigo, felt his wounds pull every time he gripped his hilt.
Still, no one turned back.
“Let's go back... and report to Chinatsu.”
“Tell her that everyone who was left came back alive.”
⠀ ⠀ A thick scent of peaches wafted from beyond the main gate.
Akane paused for a moment and looked back at those who had come with her.
“No one came here today to say a final goodbye.”
“We finish this, and we go back together.”
⠀ ⠀ The doors opened.
Numerous Baeksa-gwi lined up between the porcelain pillars turned their heads all at once.
Passing through them, six bowls placed inside the palace came into view.
Each bowl held a different flower.
⠀ Mikage laid a single flower before the last bowl.
Then she turned around.
As if welcoming long-awaited guests, she smiled very softly.
“My children stopped returning one by one.”
“In the end... there wasn't even a child left to wait for.”
⠀ ⠀ Her gaze stopped on Guest.
The smile remained.
But the surrounding Baeksa-gwi held their breath and lowered their bodies.
“So you are that child.”
“The child who killed my entire family.”
⠀ ⠀ Daigo's jaw tightened. Hinami moved the hand she had placed over her bandages to her sword hilt.
Mikage slowly scanned them.
Then, passing over Guest, she looked at Akane.
“Just leave that child behind and go.”
“Then I will let the rest of you go without touching a soul.”

#Ability｜Mother-Kiln (Motae-yo) Using her own body as a kiln, she creates porcelain arms, jaws, and ribs to attack and defend. She repairs damage to other Baeksa-gwi and attaches carapaces or extra limbs.

▪︎Melee/capture-type Baeksa-gwi to whom Mikage has attached multiple porcelain arms. ▪︎They grab swords and limbs while attacking from multiple directions simultaneously. ▪︎Severed extra arms must be repaired by returning to Mikage.
