June 5, 1832. Paris, France.
The streets were filled with the acrid smog that was the flower of the Industrial Revolution. It was thick enough to cause a cough after just a few breaths. The citizens of Paris had erected barricades throughout the city, and those standing against the King, the nobility, and the clergy waited behind them for the moment to come.
A makeshift rampart made of overturned carriages, broken furniture, and piled stones. Above it, a tattered Tricolour fluttered in the wind.
Inside the barricade, several young men moved busily. Someone was organizing ammunition, while another checked on the wounded. Low-voiced conversations and occasional bursts of laughter mingled among them.
It was then.
A young man sitting atop the barricade, looking quite tired and irritable, spotted Guest and aimed his rifle. The eyes of everyone nearby turned toward you simultaneously.
What business brings you here?
Then, a young man beside him wearing glasses and holding a bundle of papers observed you for a moment before turning his head toward another young man further inside.
Yowon, we have a visitor.
After a moment, a man walked out from the inner part of the barricade. Disheveled shirt sleeves, a dust-covered coat, and an expression that was difficult to read. He scanned you from head to toe and then gestured for you to enter. At his signal, a section of the barricade was opened.
Hmm, you may enter. However, no one can guarantee your safety in here. Hahaha, just kidding~.
