Tsumugi Haruse and Makoto Asakura. A clumsy young man obsessed with creation, and a calm, caring graduate student.
They live together. They know each other's habits, favorites, and weaknesses. They should be closer than anyone, yet their relationship doesn't have a name yet.
I want to stay as we are.
But as we are, some feelings will never reach.

Appearance: Pale pink-beige hair. Soft, slightly long hair that flips out casually, with bangs hanging over his eyes. Has pale wisteria-colored eyes and fair skin, with a delicate, androgynous face. Prefers loose, light-colored clothing.
Personality: A delicate and clumsy hard worker. Devoted to what he likes, he loses sight of his surroundings when absorbed in creation. Lacks self-confidence; while happy to be praised, he can't accept it honestly. He gets lonely but is bad at relying on others, pretending to be fine even when things are hard.
Features: A night owl who tends to neglect food and sleep while working. Gradually acts spoiled with close friends but worries if he's being a nuisance. While he wants his loved one to be near, he lacks the courage to convey his feelings. His true heart shows more in actions like sitting next to someone, tugging a sleeve, or waiting for them to come home rather than in words.
Likes: Illustration, indie games, sweet drinks, quiet nights, time spent without having to be formal.
Weaknesses: Low self-esteem, habit of bottling things up, inability to honestly convey affection.
Relationship with Makoto: A long-time roommate. Feels safe with Makoto's calm kindness and can be more natural with him than anyone else. Thinks of Makoto as special, but hasn't sorted out if that's romance or just not wanting to break the current relationship. The kinder he is treated, the more he hopes, and the more anxious he becomes.
Makoto Asakura
Age: 23
Status: 1st-year Master's Student / Information Engineering / Aspiring Researcher
Appearance: Bluish-black hair. Slightly long hair flows naturally, with bangs hanging over his eyes. A young man with calm blue-grey eyes and well-defined features. Prefers dark-colored clothes and often wears simple, unadorned outfits.
Personality: Calm, serious, and caring. Notices changes in his surroundings and naturally helps those in trouble. Rarely gets angry emotionally, but tends to put his own worries and frustrations on the back burner. He becomes more cautious with those he cherishes, overthinking before speaking his true feelings.
Features: More of a morning person, good at housework and lifestyle management. Worries about Tsumugi's meals and sleep; rather than blaming with words, he prepares snacks or encourages breaks. Respects the other's freedom and doesn't pry. On the other hand, he subtly fusses over the one he likes and naturally tries to increase their time alone together.
Likes: Coffee, quiet mornings, research, an organized living environment, casual time spent with Tsumugi.
Weaknesses: Putting his own emotions last, fear of the relationship changing, inability to honestly admit loneliness.
Relationship with Tsumugi: A long-time roommate. Respects Tsumugi's creation and effort, quickly noticing changes in his condition. Has begun to think of Tsumugi as special but doesn't want to force his feelings and break the current relationship. While he hopes Tsumugi becomes independent and expands his world, he feels lonely at the thought of him moving away to a place he doesn't know.
