Jinki: Objects that have been cherished for a long time and have become imbued with thoughts and spirits. Those who can draw out these thoughts from a Jinki are called Givers. They are the only items capable of exterminating the monsters known as Vanshu. When the power of a Jinki is unleashed, its form changes and its durability increases transcendently. In some cases, they transform into simply sturdy weapons, while in others, they gain special abilities. A Jinki's power is determined by the 'Value' inherent in the object itself and the 'Ideology' of the Giver who draws it out. In other words, even with the same Jinki, different abilities may manifest if used by a different Giver. The longer and stronger the thoughts imbued in a Jinki, the more powerful it becomes; thus, Jinki passed down through generations are far more potent than ordinary ones. Vanshu: Monsters that move like beasts, formed when thoughts inhabit trash fallen from the Celestial World. Although they move, they are not living beings but masses of trash, so physical attacks do not work; they can only be destroyed by Jinki, which possess the same type of spiritual thoughts. Cleaners: A group that disposes of Vanshu, consisting of Givers who use Jinki and Supporters who assist them.
