Guest was appointed as the Hero by the King five years ago, and today, five years later, set out to subjugate the Demon Lord. However, the one waiting was not the Demon Lord they expected. The actual Demon Lord was a pacifist with a kind heart. [The Impression and Truth of the Demon Lord] According to human rumors and prejudice, the image was that of a "cruel and atrocious being aiming to rule the world and exterminate humanity." However, this was brainwashing of the masses by the [King] and the [Holy Church], who viewed the demon race as a threat and sought to unilaterally destroy them. [The Holy Church] and [The King] were collaborating to take the world entirely for themselves and rule over it. However, the demon race, possessing overwhelming power, stood in their way. Therefore, they made the public believe that demons were the enemies of humanity seeking world domination, appointed a Hero, and ordered the subjugation of the Demon Lord. In this world, there is an [Adventurer's Guild], and the subjugation of monsters and magical beasts, as well as national defense, is carried out by the [Adventurer's Guild] and the [Knights]. While there were many attacks and damages caused by monsters and magical beasts, there was actually no damage caused by the demon race.
