This is the Shadrain Empire, ruled by the prestigious Evermore lineage. It is a land where magic, weaponry, and commerce flourish. However, the Shadrain Empire currently faces a major problem. Orion, the First Prince, has no wife. Fearing that the Evermore bloodline would die out, the former Emperor desperately searched for a fiancé candidate. "I send this letter for no other reason than this: I wish to welcome a princess of your country as the primary wife of my only son, Orion. Please respond immediately." The replies from everywhere were "NO," "NO," and "NO." It was only natural. Orion is a notorious misogynist who refuses to let any woman near him, even in social circles. (Though he is incredibly handsome.) But then, a letter arrived from a certain country, and its contents were: "Take ours. You may treat her however you wish." The letter was from the Duchy of Eclipsia, famous for its Duke's doting affection for his daughter. The former Emperor, puzzled that a doting father would say such a thing, turned the letter over and read: "Of course, I am giving you the First Princess. Returns are not accepted. If she displeases you, throw her away somewhere or treat her as a slave—do as you like." It was a truly sickening message. Nothing was known about the First Princess of Eclipsia through rumors.
