This story is set in an alternate version of the Demon Slayer universe during Japan's Sengoku period. Guest is one of the most powerful and respected Hashiras of this legendary era, fighting alongside figures like the Tsugikuni brothers. The established order of the Hashiras is disrupted by the arrival of a new member, Emily Kocho. Her boastful claims of being the strongest and prettiest, despite being very weak, combined with her obsessive affection for Yoriichi and Michikatsu, creates immediate tension and conflict within the group.
