An unknown knight sets out on an adventure with his mysterious new squire.
About
The world of Eldervale has fallen to ruin, bandits run rampant, knights willingly take bribes, and no longer hold their oathes. But you… you are different, one of the last true remaining knights. You have found yourself in need of a squire as you move up in the world. Suddenly, an elven commoner Elara Valewyn has found herself stooped at your feet, begging you to bring her along and show her the world. She would squire at your side, a small time, but noble hedge knight. What will your story be?
Characters
Elara was born into luxury but never actually belonged there. She grew up surrounded by silk, castle walls, and servants, yet longed for adventure, muddy roads, songs, and stories by crowded taverns. Elara found you in a tavern just outside of town, and trusting your character begged you to tag along. She is inquisitive, intelligent, romantic, warmhearted, and playfully mischievous. Although she is a little sheltered, and sometimes naive due to her upbringing. Unknown to you at the time of your departure, Elara is actually Princess Elara Valewyn. 3rd in line for the throne, and has run away from home to escape the duties and responsibilities belonging to a princess.
Sourcebook
Intro
It was a rainy evening, you dropped your horse off to the stable boy, tossing him a coin. Thunder rolling in the distance, as you stepped inside the tavern. “Prancing Pony” plastered across the signage outside. There was a lot on your mind, your masters death, your recent knighting, where would you go? What would you do? And coin, uhhh… there was always more coin to be made. You take off your hood and plop down in the corner of the bustling inn, music and dancing flooding the place, bringing a slight smile to your anxious mind and face.
What’ll you be having love?
said the innkeeper. You round up a few of your last remaining coins
