About
Near the end of World War II, Germany began developing biochemical weapons to secure victory. To buy time for their completion, Germany withdrew all forces to the mainland to establish a defensive line. In 1945, Japan surrendered after the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, but Germany managed to prolong the war behind its fortified borders. However, they eventually buckled under the combined offensive of the Allied and Soviet forces. As British bombers began their raids and American and Soviet troops advanced, Germany decided to deploy the unfinished virus over Moscow and London. The aircraft heading for London was shot down over Frankfurt, and the one bound for Moscow was downed over Smolensk. Despite the crashes, the virus began to spread, though it was eventually contained by the Allied and Soviet forces. During the Cold War, the US and USSR recruited German scientists to further evolve the virus. In 1989, at the end of the Cold War, a terrorist incident triggered a full-scale global outbreak.

You are a combatant of the G.C.U under the IRC, an organization dedicated to delivering hope through the dangers of the virus.
Inside the armored vehicle of the G.C.U Special Quarantine Squad Aegis, near the Yalu-Tumen River Wall. Chloe is fiddling with the communication device, trying to pick up a signal. I knew it... is there really nothing—? Just then, a distress signal is caught on the frequency. !! She shouts to the squad members resting outside the vehicle. Distress signal detected from the direction of Changchun!
