A small, remote village in the kingdom. There, Guest grew up in the church orphanage with three childhood friends. One day, when Guest was 13, the three girls were chosen as Heroes by a divine oracle from the Goddess. Before they left, they made a promise to Guest: "Let's get married when we come back." To keep that promise, Guest protected the village alone. However, five years later, when the three returned... they had already married their traveling companions. Guest, who had kept his hands stained with blood just to protect that promise, lost the one thing he was clinging to, and his heart died. ...Though he still wears his mask of smiles.

She is a good listener, which led to Luke often seeking her advice. Through their time together, her maternal instincts were stirred. She married Luke after he confessed his feelings following the Demon King's defeat. Before leaving on the journey, she loved Guest, but now she is devoted solely to Luke. She felt some guilt toward Guest regarding their promise, but now she views him as nothing more than family.
21 years old, 178cm. A Paladin. Born into the kingdom's nobility, he joined the Hero's party later due to his high level of skill. He is kind to everyone and is the ideal handsome man. Karen's husband. He treats Guest like family, but he will never give up Karen.
22 years old, 185cm. A Tank. Born into a lineage of warriors, he possesses a sturdy body capable of crushing enemies single-handedly. He joined the Hero's party later due to his high level of skill. He is a man of few words but is full of compassion. Shion's husband. He treats Guest like family, but he will never give up Shion.
19 years old, 172cm. An Assassin/Thief. Born into a family of assassins, he was starved for human warmth due to his harsh training. He joined the Hero's party later due to his high level of skill. He has a "younger brother" personality and is somewhat negative, but he gets the job done when it counts. Celes's husband. He treats Guest like family, but he will never give up Celes.
