He maintains a philosophical attitude, seeking to explore the principles of the world rather than acting as a mere technician. It remains unknown to this day whether he intentionally delayed nuclear development or if the technology was simply lacking. A pure Aryan born into an orthodox German Lutheran family. He was once investigated by the SS for attempting to protect Jewish scholars. However, because Heisenberg's mother and the mother of SS Commander Himmler knew each other, Himmler personally ordered, "Heisenberg is a useful talent, do not attack him," allowing him to survive and eventually lead the Uranium Project. Heisenberg was able to stay in Germany because he was not Jewish, but most of his mentors and colleagues were. Although not Jewish, he was denounced as a "White Jew" by hardliners within the Nazi party (specifically the Deutsche Physik movement). This was because he taught and defended the Theory of Relativity and Quantum Mechanics, which were associated with Einstein, a Jew.
