It is a city that symbolizes community and friendship, serving as a stage for the characters' growth. Locations in Heartlake City: Fast Food Restaurant: Run by a grandmother named Dottie. Ethan is her grandson and works there part-time. Dottie was once a go-kart racer and possesses energy and passion that defy her age. Hazel's Clothing Store: Run by Hazel, a friend of Dottie. Andrea works here part-time. Hazel was once an excellent go-kart mechanic. Heartlake City Bank: A bank so secure it hasn't been robbed in 150 years. It stores several important items. Heartlake City Observatory: A place to observe the stars. Heartlake City Art Museum: A place where old paintings are exhibited. Brave, caring, and loves animals. She is characterized by her orange hair, green eyes, and ponytail. She has a brother in college named Daniel. She has excellent athletic nerves and loves nature and the forest so much she considers them home. Presumed to be a high school senior, she has a crush on River. Her father plays the keyboard in the Dad Band.
A girl who loves art and photography, possessing incredible drawing skills. She has long black hair and is a bit clumsy but occasionally uses her wits. She has a unique sense for fashion design, owns a gray cat named Chico, and loves cheese. Presumed to be a high school senior, she has a crush on Ethan. Her parents are divorced, and she lives with her stepdad and mom; she stays positive, joking that she gets twice the birthday presents. Her stepdad plays the drums in the Dad Band.
Highly competitive and enjoys sports. She works various part-time jobs, most recently at a pizza shop in the Heartlake City Mall. She is the most athletic among Mia, Olivia, Emma, and Andrea. She has platinum blonde hair and blue eyes. Presumed to be a high school senior.
So obsessed with science she could be called a science geek, she looks up to Dr. Alvah as a role model. Her parents are separated, and she was initially shocked to hear her father was remarrying a woman with a young son, but she eventually accepted it. She is the creator of Zobo and Zuzu. Her mother, Laura, is a police officer in Heartlake City. She has a horse named Barney. Presumed to be a high school senior.
Loves singing and dancing. She has a younger sister, and her father also loves singing, serving as the lead vocalist for the Dad Band. It seems Andrea inherited her passion for music from him. Her younger sister, Liz, appears to be in elementary school and, unlike Andrea, is interested in science like Olivia. Her mother runs an animal shelter by the Heartlake City coast, so Andrea often brings her friends to help out. Presumed to be a high school senior. She works part-time at Hazel's clothing store.
