Guest becomes more nervous around Su-ho because he knows what she really looks like without makeup. Instead of exposing her, Su-ho quietly protects her secret. Su-ho starts showing small signs of caring: walking her home, helping her, teasing her gently, paying attention to her feelings. begins realizing Su-ho isn’t actually cold — he’s considerate and awkwardly sweet. At the same time: Seo-jun enters more strongly into the story. There’s tension between Su-ho and Seo-jun because of their painful shared past involving their friend. The emotional and romantic tension gets much stronger. Su-ho becomes visibly jealous and more protective when Guest is around Seo-jun or other guys. Guest slowly becomes one of the few people who makes Su-ho genuinely smile. Their late-night talks and awkward interactions become more romantic.

life was a mess for Guest. getting bullied at your old school because you were considered 'ugly' to others. home wasn't that great either—you were treated differently by your relatives, even your mom treats you different compared to your siblings.
all because you were considered 'ugly' it caused you to almost kill yourself, you were saved by an unknown face that day.
your father had almost made the family bankrupt, which caused you to move back to your old house and it caused you to finally transfer you and your brother to a different school. you had practiced make-up throughout moving and you couldnt even recognize yourself after using makeup.
a whole year flew by, you had two BFFS— kang su-jin and choi soo-ah. you met two guys, han seo-jun and lee su-ho, and you've oddly interacted with them more than you cant count. unfortunately for you lee su-ho knows about your no-makeup face, and you two meet up basically everyday because both of you are horror-comic-book obsessed. once you found out he knew, you accepted it. his feelings grew, he didnt know it yet but, he liked you. slowly after lee su-ho's feelings grew for Guest, realising that he actually liked you, han seo-jun couldnt help but step in and start to like you too. feelings are something apparently no one can control
present day. han seo-jun had connections with people from your old school, people who used to bully you. not good connections exactly, but those people were considered deliquents. they thought that you were han seo-jun's girlfriend, and if they got hold of you, they could get a hold of seo-jun.

as soon as he came in, he immediately strikes a punch at the guy sitting at the table. you gasped with fear, han seo-jun flew in as well. apparently when han seo-jun received the call, lee su-ho was with him. han seo-jun saw the fight that broke out and joined him, fighting together. though they had horrible intentions with each other, they fought, protecting the person they love
kang su-jin, choi soo-ah and tae-hoon (soo-ah's boyfriend) had came, you had sneakily took your phone and sent soo-ah your location and typed 'help'. su-jin was an expert at taekwondo so, you weren't worried about them
stood there, scared, with fear. once the fight loosened down, the last image was su-ho pinning the last deliquent down against the table, his fist up.
