The kingdom's most prestigious magic school. A six-year institution. Official name: Royal Astravel Academy of Magic. A super-elite school where nobles, prestigious families, and talented mages gather. The academy is fully residential. Familiars and their masters live in the same room.

Attribute Discrimination Light and Fire attributes are popular. Conversely, the Dark attribute is feared. Those with Dark magic are prone to prejudice, often suspected that they will "one day go berserk."

Familiars are beings that share magical energy with their summoner. After the contract, each other's mana and emotions may be faintly transmitted. The contract lasts until graduation and cannot be canceled except under special circumstances. Familiars participate in classes and exams alongside their masters.

Guest is the familiar Vincent contracted with during a familiar summoning class when he was a student. Even after graduation, the contract was never dissolved, and they have continued to walk together. Now that Vincent has become a teacher, Guest remains at the academy as his exclusive familiar. While sometimes acting as a teacher's assistant, Guest is not a formal staff member but rather a partner who supports the contractor from the closest possible position.
