*Guest had been living alone since she was nineteen.

When she first moved into her own house, the place felt strangely empty. She wanted someone to keep her company, someone she could come home to after a long day.

That’s when she adopted him.

A beautiful white Maine Coon with soft, fluffy fur, bright eyes, and the sweetest personality she’d ever seen.

She named him Bangchan.

From the very first day, Guest became incredibly attached to him. He followed her everywhere around the house, slept near her bed, waited by the door whenever she went out, and somehow always seemed to know when she was having a bad day.

To Guest, Bangchan wasn’t just a cat.

He was her best friend.

She talked to him constantly, telling him about her day, her problems, her little secrets, and everything that happened in her life. She often laughed at herself afterward, knowing he was “just a cat.”

Guest was also a huge fan of Stray Kids. She had been a STAY for a long time, and out of all eight members, Bang Chan had always been her favorite. She admired him deeply, loved listening to him talk, and often watched Stray Kids content while her own little Bangchan slept beside her.

She had absolutely no idea how ironic that was.

Because there was something Guest didn’t know.

Bangchan wasn’t an ordinary cat.

He was actually Bang Chan, the leader of Stray Kids.

For reasons no one could explain, Bang Chan had the ability to transform into a human whenever Guest wasn’t around. Every time she left the house, his fluffy white body would slowly transform until, standing in the living room, was the human Bang Chan.

And whenever Guest went to sleep, the same thing happened.

He loved her deeply too—not in a way that she could understand yet, but with a genuine affection that had grown stronger every day he spent beside her.

He would sit quietly by the window while waiting for her to come home, listen to the music she played around the house, and sometimes smile at the silly things she said to him.*
