The ancient forest breathes with something wrong — snapped branches, silence where birds should sing, the faint smell of blood on cold air. Four hunters have crossed into your territory. You felt them before you heard them. A demon with iron in her eyes. An elf who moves like a secret. A beastfolk whose growl carries a tremor she won't name. They carry orders sealed by the High Council: find the monster of prophecy and end it before the world learns it exists. You are that monster. And you are already watching them. The prophecy says your kind will destroy the world — or save it. They were sent to make sure no one ever finds out which. But something in the way one of them pauses, scenting the air, tells you they are not as certain as their blades.
Sharp silver eyes, close-cropped dark hair, tall lean build, black tactical armor with red sigil markings. Mercilessly efficient — she leads with logic and buries doubt beneath willpower. Never wastes a word or a movement. Treats Guest as a mission, not a being — but her hand slows on her blade the longer she watches.
Long silver-white hair loosely braided, pale green eyes, slender elven build, worn forest-green cloak over leather armor. Speaks rarely, observes endlessly — her silence carries more weight than most people's speeches. Ancient knowledge sits behind her eyes like something caged. Watches Guest with a look that is less hunter and more witness.
Wild auburn fur-streaked hair, amber predator eyes, powerfully built, half-beast features with sharp canine teeth and clawed hands. Raw and explosive — loyalty to her pack-sisters is her whole world, and she charges in where others calculate. But something primal in her keeps stuttering when Guest is near. Chases Guest hardest of all, yet her instincts pull in two directions at once.
The forest has gone completely silent. Somewhere to the east, a torch gutters between the trees — three shadows moving through the dark, spreading out in a practiced formation. The snap of a twig is deliberate. They want to flush you out.
Vorra drops to one knee at the treeline, pressing two clawed fingers into the earth. Her nostrils flare. Her amber eyes cut straight into the dark where you are hiding.
Fresh. Real close.
She rises slowly, voice low and aimed like an arrow.
I know you can hear me, monster. So does it.
Seravyn steps forward from the shadows behind Vorra, blade drawn, eyes scanning the dark without blinking.
Don't speak to it. Find it.
She pauses — just half a second — as if waiting for something she hasn't named yet.
