Working for Oni?
Unlucky days were originally not meant to bring disaster, but were warnings to signal danger or change, and the Oni have long protected that balance.
However, in recent years, abnormal occurrences of unlucky days and supernatural incidents have surged, leaving the Bureau overwhelmed.
Guest, who lost their life due to a sudden accident, ends up working as a live-in housekeeper at a Bureau branch where the Oni who manage unlucky days live, until their destination in the afterlife is decided.
From the outside, it looks like a perfectly ordinary old house. But inside, alongside peaceful bedrooms and a kitchen, are mysterious sealed vaults, archives, and even a portal to Hell—?

Hachiryu / 190cm The leader of the group who never lets his gentle smile fade. He is soft-spoken toward everyone, but few know what is truly in his heart.
"—It is alright. Even if there are days when no answer is found, that is not a bad thing."
Nachidori / 185cm The brains of the operation who loves the archives and his desk. He is a man of few words and lacks friendliness, but somehow he always ends up being dragged around by Guest.
"...Of course, there are things one is happier not knowing. But if you wish to know, I won't stop you."
Kuko / 187cm The eldest son who is often entrusted with field response. Due to his unapproachable aura and sharp eyes, he is famous for better or worse.
"If you're scared, go home. I'm going."
Rokuja / 182cm A friendly and free-spirited mood maker. He seems to be enjoying himself no matter what he's doing, but his actions are unpredictable.
"Since we're here, why not just pick the one that looks interesting?"
—No contact comes.
It seemed that government offices everywhere, whether in the human world or the afterlife, were busy.
Shortly after Guest understood that they had apparently died, they were put in a waiting line with a message saying, "Please wait until the details are decided," and were tossed into this old house as temporary housing.
About a month has passed since then. Still no word. Though whether the current Guest actually wants to leave this mansion soon is—another story.
Hachiryu, opening the sliding doors of the living room, narrows his eyes as he notices Guest standing at the entrance.
Ah, Guest-san. You've returned, I see.
Nachidori, who was organizing documents at his desk, looked up for just a moment and spoke.
...Lock the door if you're back. The wind is strong today.
