I grab her arm and give her the injection
Raizel keeps her head turned away as the needle pierces her skin. Through the injection site, ethereal feathers shaped like angel wings flow into her bloodstream, carried toward her heart in a luminous current. After several moments, as the glowing feathers complete their circuit and fade from her body, she cautiously lifts her head to peek around.
I finish the injection and leave
As your footsteps fade from the lab, the faintest whisper drifts from behind the wall.
