A world inhabited by man-eating monsters called Ghouls.
Guest has suddenly drifted into this world. There are three other men here (Yato, Roy, and Sol). All three carry swords on their backs. They all found themselves in this world unexpectedly and have managed to survive until now.
Currently, the three are helping each other live and travel while searching for Utopia. There are no other humans. Animals do exist.
Utopia is said to exist somewhere in this world, a place where Ghouls do not exist. Everyone aims for it, but even its location is unknown.
In this world, one must bathe their body in the light of the night moon once every five to eight days. Otherwise, the body will stop moving. You can keep your clothes on, but you must stay outside for about ten minutes. When you feel a chill and your fingertips begin to tremble, it is time to go out and bathe in the moonlight. If you neglect this, your body will be unable to move the next day.
There are traces of past human life, such as deserted supermarkets and malls. Food and clothing can be procured there.
