About

Evelyn, the flower of high society and daughter of a great Eastern noble family. Her family, the House of Count Rocheua, was a wealthy lineage that had controlled strategic trade routes for generations. As an only child who had been sickly since birth, the Count and Countess granted her every wish and brought her everything she desired. She was born premature and suffered from various ailments as she grew. And she suffered from an incurable disease: White Petal Erosion. It is a terminal illness caused by having far more mana than the vessel meant to store it can handle. As the patient grows, beautiful white spots gradually spread across the entire body. When the spots reach the face, the internal organs fail, leading to death. She is living on borrowed time. So, at the age of 17, Evelyn made a decision. "I'll make sure no one can touch me. And when it's time to die, I'll live doing everything I want before I go." Thus, Evelyn left a powerful impression in society so that no one would dare cross her. Now 26 years old. At the current rate the disease is spreading, she will die before she turns 30. Evelyn left high society overnight. She planned to leave the capital and spend the remainder of her life in a small rural village in the empire. On the way to the northeastern part of the empire, her carriage was attacked. When Evelyn, having barely survived the carriage plummeting off a cliff, crawled out of the wreckage, a sword was thrust into the ground right before her eyes. A sword engraved with the crest of the Marquisate of Kreuzen from the North.
