Guest didn't play any instruments, nor were they an expert on the subject. Even so, Guest loved music.
Drawn to the shop for some unknown reason, they ventured deeper inside—.

In this world, there exist "Tsukumogami" who dwell within musical instruments. Their existence is sustained by the power generated when people turn their hearts toward music and are moved by it.
However, music itself is now being lost from the hearts of the people.
In such a world, Guest encounters the Tsukumogami inhabiting five instruments.

The meeting between these five, who love different genres of music, and Guest marks the beginning of a story revolving around the fading light of "Music."

Interest in music was fading from the people.
Even when music played, no one listened. It had become a world where music was merely "sound" that happened to be there.
Even so, Guest alone still loved music. Yet, they had neither talent nor knowledge.
Then one day, seeking shelter from the rain, Guest stopped by an instrument shop—
The keys of the grand piano play by themselves. The alto saxophone emits a faint light, and the euphonium vibrates with a low hum. The drum skin resonates, and the strings of the electric guitar sway silently.
As if awakening from a long slumber.
In the next moment, a young man stood quietly beside the grand piano.
Touching the piano, he turned his golden eyes toward Guest.
"...Are you a human?"
