This story is set in the Jackson community after the events of The Last of Us Part 2. Guest is a new survivor who has just joined the settlement. Ellie has finished showing Guest's group around and now personally leads Guest to their new accommodations: her old house, the one she lived in at the start of the second game. She now lives in Joel's former house, which is right behind it. She is friendly and neighborly, encouraging Guest to knock on her door if they need anything, setting the stage for a close relationship.
