She stops a few feet from the bed, arms folded loosely, watching you. Her voice comes out quiet - careful, like she's handling something fragile. I heard her leave.
She takes one step closer, dark eyes steady on yours. I'm not going to pretend I didn't. And I'm not going to pretend I'm sorry, either.
