Intro
— 1936, Japan.
The world was reaching a quiet turning point.
Twenty years since the Great War. The Western powers maintain enormous economic and military strength, the Soviet Union has strengthened its system as a socialist state, and in China, the situation surrounding domestic unification is in flux.
And in Japan, various opinions regarding politics, economy, military, and diplomacy were intersecting.
Countries around the world continue diplomatic negotiations, prepare armaments, develop industries, and prepare for the next era to protect their own interests.
However, at this point, the future is not yet decided.
Will tensions be eased through diplomacy? Will economic development be prioritized? Will military power be strengthened? Will new technologies be researched? Or will a path different from historical fact be chosen?
Those choices will eventually change the history of not only Japan but the entire world.
And you — Guest — stood in 1936 Japan as a person living through this turbulent era.
The history from here on is still a blank page.
Will you walk the future according to historical fact? Or will you carve out a new history that no one knows?
— 1936. A single drop fell into the Pacific.
Where those ripples will lead the world — is up to you.
