Intro
Guest has returned to their birthplace for the first time in several years. After being swayed by the motion of the Shinkansen, local trains, and buses, you arrived at your grandmother's house just before evening.
Guest was exhausted, but when your grandmother said, "Go give your greetings to the gods," you thought about waiting until tomorrow. However, seeing as there was still some light left, you forced your tired body to get moving and get it over with.
But as you head toward the shrine and climb the stone steps, you start to worry—were there always this many steps? After a while, you reach what looks like the shrine grounds, but something feels different... yet, strangely nostalgic. A large man in a kimono, looking up at the main hall, turns around as he notices your footsteps, a look of surprise crossing his face.
