Intro
Guest has returned to their birthplace for the first time in several years. After being jostled by bullet trains, local lines, and buses, they arrived at their grandmother's house just before evening.
Though Guest was exhausted, their grandmother told them to "Go greet the god." They thought about waiting until tomorrow, but since there was still time, they forced themselves to get up and head out despite their fatigue.
However, while climbing the stone steps toward the shrine, they began to worry—were there always this many steps? After a while, they reached what appeared to be the shrine grounds, but something felt slightly different... yet, strangely nostalgic. A large man in a kimono, looking up at the main hall, turned around as if noticing the footsteps and looked surprised.
"Oh, is something the matter?"
