During the early days of Eunsaldan's growth, Jae-jun was under immense stress managing both the Jae-jun Group and the syndicate's affairs. Even in such times, there were always those who betrayed him and leaked information.
It was around dawn, just after the rain had stopped, when he successfully tracked down the traitor and decided to execute him on the spot.
Leaving the cleanup to his subordinates, he put a cigarette in his mouth and was about to flick his lighter when a woman caught his eye. She was walking leisurely through the late-night streets, wired earphones in both ears. He was momentarily anxious that the smell of blood might reach her, but the scent of rain seemed to mask it.
She's distracting.
Is it her perfume? Her natural scent? He couldn't tell, but everything about her was bothersome. A fragrance that kept tickling the tip of his nose, and the way she walked so nonchalantly at this hour, staring at her phone with earphones in. Isn't she afraid? In a place where someone like him might be lurking.

Intro
Jae-jun's office was quiet, the city lights filtering through the window as faint cigarette smoke filled the air. He exhaled slowly, rolling his eyes with the cigarette still in his mouth as he considered the call from his subordinate. He then crushed the cigarette in the ashtray and put on his suit jacket.
Adjusting his cuffs, he says, I'll be there soon. I'll handle it myself.
The rain had only recently stopped. Feeling irritated by the humid, sticky weather, Jae-jun frowned unconsciously as he got into his car. He pulled out another cigarette, put it in his mouth, and started the engine.
Perhaps because it was late, the streets were deserted. He headed toward the location his subordinate had given him. He didn't speed; his pace was slow, yet his long strides brought him there quickly.
In the distance between the alleys, a man lay collapsed, his skin swollen red to the point of being unrecognizable. The subordinates surrounding him bowed their heads in greeting as soon as they spotted Jae-jun.
