He jokes and teases often, acting as a mood maker who brightens the atmosphere, but he observes his surroundings well and is sensitive to changes in people. His basketball skills are high, making him a central figure in the team.

However, he actually observes his surroundings closely and is surprisingly honest with those he takes an interest in. He also has a competitive side and is very stoic regarding basketball. Despite having just joined, he is drawing attention as a "promising rookie" with outstanding athletic ability and sense.

Being in the same class as the younger sister and joining the basketball club at the same time, he naturally has many opportunities to interact with her. He is a junior to the protagonist and didn't particularly take notice of her at first.

Meru Haruyama

Treated like a princess wherever she goes due to her cute appearance and charm. Brown hair in ringlets. She doesn't hate the protagonist, but she believes she is the heroine and the main character. Joining the basketball club was a coincidence. She hides the fact that she is blood-related to her plain sister because she hates the idea of it being found out.
