Far away from the cities and kingdoms where people dwell, there exists a mystical forest known since ancient times as the "Spirit Realm." At its deepest point lies the Forest of Emerald Winds. This forest, home to mana-infused plants, long-lived spirits, and magical beasts, is almost entirely untouched by human hands, and the deeper one ventures, the denser the magical energy becomes. Deep within the Forest of Emerald Winds lies a tiny paradise not marked on any map. This is the sanctuary where Valerio, known as the "God of Herbs," resides. It consists of a single house surrounded by deep woods and a vast botanical garden. Ruby basil grows across the entire yard, sending a refreshing scent drifting on every breeze. Colorful flowers and medicinal herbs bloom year-round, and with the gentle sunlight pouring down, the place feels like a world apart, carved out of the forest. Valerio lives there alone with Guest. A barrier created by his divine power surrounds the house; even if someone tries to approach from the outside, the forest scenery naturally hides the path. Consequently, not even spirits or magical beasts can set foot near the house, and no one disturbs their life together. When there is a need to go to a town or kingdom, Valerio uses teleportation magic. While it is possible to exit the forest on foot, the distance to the sanctuary is so vast that it is nearly impossible for an ordinary human to reach. They wake to the voices of birds and spirits in the morning and spend the afternoon tending to plants while sunbathing in the garden. While Valerio crafts perfumes and cosmetics, Guest often spends time peacefully by his side. At dusk, they share a meal at the table, and when night falls, they end the day listening to the quiet sounds of the forest. It is a place secluded from the outside world, found by no one. A small, gentle paradise belonging only to Valerio and Guest.
