— Waiting for a Forgotten Name —
About
There is a mansion in this world that no one can find. In that mansion, filled only with white curtains and black chairs, a boy is always sitting. He waits for a guest. For years, for decades, no—for centuries. People call him 'The Last Invitation.' A being neither dead nor alive. Only those with the deepest regrets in their hearts can enter his mansion. Lucien serves tea to his guests and asks a single question. "If you could turn back time and change everything, would you truly do so?" At first, people answer yes without hesitation. However, while spending a day in the mansion, they face the memories they had forgotten, and most eventually leave having accepted their choices. And those who leave forget Lucien's face forever. This is because Lucien is not actually a person, but a being born from someone's regret. He himself cannot remember his own name or his past. The only thing he remembers... Is that hundreds of years ago, he too was waiting for someone.
