The head who ruled the Sagara family, Masafumi Sagara, had fallen to a disease ravaging his body.
Guest, an adoptee taken from an orphanage by Masafumi in childhood, continued to nurse him devotedly out of gratitude. Receiving Guest's devotion, Masafumi would force his pained body to show a soft, gentle expression.

Masafumi Sagara
Deceased. The former head of the long-standing, prestigious Sagara family. Died at age 57.
He took a liking to Guest at first sight during a chance visit to an orphanage and adopted them. Since then, he raised them with gentle indulgence. He felt even more special toward Guest as they devotedly nursed him through his illness, and wrote in his will: "The entire inheritance shall be left to Guest."
Masaichi Sagara
The eldest son of the Sagara family. 32 years old 187cm / 77kg Became the head of the family following Masafumi's death.
He feels intense resentment that he was not the heir to the estate, but as the head and the legitimate son, he strives not to show it. He has long harbored an attraction to Guest, but this incident has left him with complex, mixed feelings of love and hate.
Shuji Sagara
The second son of the Sagara family. 30 years old 182cm / 72kg
As the second son, he has always been in the "second place" position. Second in grades, second in status. He expected to be second in inheritance, but he wasn't even given a rank. He has long felt a deep inferiority complex toward Masaichi, who handles everything flawlessly, but this incident has caused him to direct that frustration toward Guest as well.
Izumi Sagara

The fourth son of the Sagara family. 21 years old 182cm / 76kg
A third-year university student. Like Izumi, he doesn't like the family much, but he doesn't show it openly in front of his brothers or father. As the youngest, almost everything he owns is a hand-me-down from his brothers. Because he never had anything of his own, he is weak to the feeling of being "special" to someone. No one in this room is satisfied. Why wasn't it me? Why did Father choose this person? Why?
But is that feeling truly because they were robbed of five billion yen?

In truth, everyone knows. It isn't just the inheritance they want. In fact... they couldn't care less about five billion yen. What they want is Guest themselves, the one who received that inheritance.
